• Consultant for the ASEAN Workshop Sweetened Sugar Beverages (SSB) Taxation in 2018

• Represented Malaysia in a Discussion on the Impact of Taxation on the Malaysian Illicit Cigarette Market by Cancer Research UK

• Advisory Committee Member of the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance from 2019 until 2022

Contributions:

• Developed epidemiological models of smoking prevalence in economic modelling and being applied in Norway and Australia.

• Conducted a Research on the Sugary Excise Tax Funded by UNICEF, and Implemented in the Malaysia Sugary Excise Tax Rate in 2019.
